SUNRISE DOOR and HOME SOFTWARE POLICIES

This page covers policies that apply to our products. To distinguish which ones apply to which product line please note the descriptive information next to each policy, in parenthesis.

REFUNDS (All products)

Because you have an opportunity to ensure that the product works with your particular system, prior to purchase/registration, Sunrise Door/Home Software does not issue refunds.

UPGRADES (Door products only)

If you wish to upgrade to the 16-Bit version OR the 32-Bit WINServer version, click here to determine the current upgrade fees for the products you want to upgrade and to send payment.

PAYMENT METHODS (All Products)

Sunrise Door Software offers a number of options to pay for your registrations and purchases.

(1) Check
        We accept personal and business checks that are negotiable in U.S. dollars against a U.S. bank. If you are known to us there will be no delay in processing. If you are a new customer there will be a delay until your check clears. The delay should only be about 3-5 business days, but the banking system does play to their own drummer at times.

(2) Money Orders
        We accept Money Orders & in most cases this will not cause a delay in processing.

(3) PayPal and Google Checkout

We accept payment via PayPal and Google Checkout and these are our preferred methods of payment. Please note that payment using PayPal and Google Checkout carries an additional Convenience/Processing Charge.

We no longer have the ability to directly accept credit cards. However, you can use them via PayPal and Google Checkout. Please note that payment using PayPal and Google Checkout carries an additional Convenience/Processing Charge.

ACTIVATION CODES (Home Edition products only)

All Sunrise Home Software products are produced as Shareware. Shareware allows you to try out the product before you pay for it. The Shareware version will have restrictions that prevent the full use of the product, but still allow you the ability to test it out. The restrictions vary from product to product and are subject to change.

REGISTRATION CODES (Door products only)

All Sunrise Door Software products are produced as Shareware. Shareware allows you to try out the product before you pay for it. The Shareware version will have restrictions that prevent the full use of the product, but still allow you and your customers the ability to test it out. The restrictions vary from product to product and are subject to change.

Once you have registered a Sunrise Door Software product and received a registration number, that registration number will work with all future versions that are produced for that particular architecture platform (We reserve the right to change this policy for ALL or selective products, at any time).

Because you have an opportunity to ensure that the product works with your particular system, prior to purchase/registration, Sunrise Door/Home Software does not issue refunds.

BBS or SYSTEM NAME CHANGE (All products)

Changing the BBS, System or Sysop Name will require that the product be handled as a new registration at the then current registration fee for that product.

RE-ISSUE ACTIVATION CODES (Home Edition products only)

If you lose or misplace the activation code for your product you can contact us to obtain a replacement number. The charge for issuing replacement activation codes is as follows:

$4.95 for the first product and $1.95 for each subsequent product. For example, if you request replacement for 3 product activation codes your charge would be $8.85 (NOTE that payment using PayPal and Google Checkout carries an additional Convenience Charge)

NOTE that this charge formula will be applied EACH time you contact us for replacement product activation codes.

Activation numbers will be reissued based on the original Home Edition ID you supplied when you purchased the product! If you have changed computers or hard drives you must re-purchase the product.

We urge our customers to place their activation codes in a safe place for future reference!!!

RE-ISSUE REGISTRATION CODES (Door products only)

If you lose or misplace the registration number for your product you can contact us to obtain a replacement number. The charge for issuing replacement registration numbers is as follows:

$4.95 for the first product and $1.95 for each subsequent product. For example, if you request replacement for 3 product registration numbers your charge would be $8.85. (NOTE that payment using PayPal and Google Checkout carries an additional Convenience Charge). Before sending PayPal or Google payment you must contact us for the exact payment amount due.

NOTE that this charge formula will be applied EACH time you contact us for replacement product registration numbers.

We will use the information supplied when you first registered the product to regenerate the registration number. If you require a new BBS name or Sysop name then you must re-register the product at the then current registration fee for that product.

We urge our customers to place their registration numbers in a safe place for future reference!!!

RETURNED CHECKS (All products)

Returned checks, for ANY reason, are subject to a $40 charge!!

TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP (All products)

Sunrise Door Software and Sunrise Home Software products can NOT be transferred to another owner, under any circumstances!
